PRESS RELEASE

VietESG Announces ESG Rating Results for Nam Thinh Mechanical Electrical Refrigeration Corporation

Hanoi, November 7, 2026

VietESG, an independent organization for sustainability assessment and rating, officially announces the ESG rating results for Nam Thinh Mechanical Electrical Refrigeration Corporation. Following a comprehensive independent assessment conducted in November 2026, the Company achieved an “A – Good” rating. The certification is valid for three years, from November 11, 2026 through November 11, 2029.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌

Assessment Standards and Methodology

The rating is based on VietESG's proprietary methodology, aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), taking into account the specific characteristics of the Construction and MEP Installation sector and the Vietnamese context. As a GRI Licensed Software & Tools Partner and GRESB Regional Partner in Vietnam, VietESG is committed to transparent, objective and in-depth assessments.

Highlights in Sustainability Strategy

  • Environmental (E): Nam Thinh “does first what it does for its clients”: it has run ~30 kWp of rooftop solar at its head office and Cu Chi workshop since 2018 and has installed about 3 MW of solar for clients, helping them avoid an estimated 2,650 tonnes of CO₂e per year. It operates an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system, modularises components in its workshop to cut waste at source, and has recorded no environmental law violations in 5 years.
  • Social (S) – a standout highlight: No serious occupational accidents in 3 years, backed by a daily safety cycle: pre-shift blood-pressure checks, Toolbox Meetings, HSE checklists and weekly safety meetings with project owners. 100% of its 246 employees are paid at or above the regional minimum wage; it has an active trade union and collective labour agreement, BIM training and certification, and 40 charity activities since 2015.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌
  • Quality & Governance (G): An ISO 9001 quality management system and internal acceptance against 5 criteria before every handover; digital management with ERP and BIM; and its first Sustainability Report with reference to GRI, together with a 2027–2029 ESG roadmap towards ISO 45001.

VietESG highly appreciates Nam Thinh's “walk the talk” approach: its sustainability commitments are turned into concrete, measurable actions that create value for employees, clients and communities.
